VALHALLA NO. 15 RESTORATION PROJECT

I purchased 3 boats: No. 01, No.14, and No.15.

No.15 is the main project for its restoration back to how it near enough looked back in the early 2000's.

No.01 and No.14 are donor boats and they have had parts removed to assist No.15, and with any spare parts, they will be used for another project.

ALL THE INFO

What You Need to Know

I have been successful in winning one of the boats from Valhalla, and then managed to obtain two more boats making it three boats in our possession. All boats used by Blackpool Pleasure Beach are manufactured by Intamin Deutschland.

No. 01 - Built in July, 1998

No. 14 - Built in January, 2000

No. 15 - Built in February, 2000

Fun Fact: it was called 'FLUME BOOT' on the type name, and it was project T-323.

The boats we have are the original ones that were used for when the ride opened in 2000 boats. 25 boats were purchased by Blackpool Pleasure Beach. The boat we are fully restoring is No.15, whereas No.01/No.14 are donors that have most been salvaged for parts for No.15. The restoration will be done in not too long of a time but it will involved a lot of cleaning as the interior and exterior contains a lot of water, mold, and rust. No. 15 is currently in storage in South Wales for the time being until the restoration will begin, and for the time being before the main project starts I have taken parts of Valhalla and the boat that I am cleaning and working on for the time being.

WHAT WORK HAS BEEN DONE ALREADY?

Not too much.

It's really no surprise, but the project is temporarily postponed until I have moved into my own accommodation with a garage/garden.
As soon as I have my own place I will get working on the boat straight away, firstly clearing and cleaning out the inside the boat as it contains a lot of foreign materials, so that will be the first task. The next task would be then removing the the front dragon head as I need to replace it with one of my two spare heads.
